Morrison Dining to Open January 2022

Coming in January 2022, Morrison Dining will be Cornell's newest All You Care to Eat state-of-the-art dining facility. It will accommodate roughly 1000 students and include eleven food platforms, four hydration stations, and an interactive food lab called The Discovery Kitchen. Food platforms are presented as 'micro-restaurants' with destination feel in lighting, seating, décor, and cuisine. Students will enjoy surprising variety and flexibility, and can delight in private dining alcoves. This space will serve as a hub where students can connect with Dining, Residential Life, Academics, Athletics & Health and Wellness.

Platform options include pizza and fresh made pasta, salad bar, desserts and pastries, grill, and more.

SALAD BAR

This platform will be a new interpretation of the salad bar and will be serving a vast array of colorful chilled Mediterranean inspired foods with the majority ranging from fresh fruits, yogurt, grains, fresh greens, composed salads, hummus and more. Designed to be self-service, guests can create their own custom experience from a number of whole food and appetizing options.

PIZZA

This platform will be serving personalized as well as chef composed pizzas. Guests will be able to observe the dough pressing, assembling and firing of the pizzas in one of two 900 degree pizza ovens. Freshly made and globally inspired pizza dishes will feature several cheeses, meats and vegetable toppings as well as a vegan cheese option.

PASTA

This platform will be serving personalized as well as chef composed pasta dishes. Guests can watch fresh pasta being made from scratch as well as experience a close-up view of action stations where guest-created pasta dishes will be prepared. Several pasta cuts will be available as well as creative pasta flavors. Sauces will be varied from meat, poultry, seafood, vegan and vegetarian options. To complete the experience, warm bread and condiment toppings will also be available.
